Uniquely Knitted is excited to announce its new partnerships with infertility clinics and hospitals across Southern California, and soon, throughout the United States. These partnerships bring Uniquely Knitted’s groundbreaking, research-backed process groups directly into the clinical setting, providing emotional and relational support for patients navigating one of life’s most challenging journeys.
The reason for the expansion is simple reality: it's time to change it up.
For too long, the infertility experience has been marked by isolation, anxiety, and silence. Uniquely Knitted believes a better way is possible.
A Mental Health Crisis in Infertility
The statistics speak for themselves:
- 56% of women and 32% of men experiencing infertility suffer from major depression.
- 41% of women face PTSD-like symptoms.
- Nearly half report suicidal ideation.
Research also shows that stigma and secrecy increase psychological distress. But when people are open about their infertility journey in a safe community, they experience lower depression and more meaning in life. That’s what Uniquely Knitted’s process groups provide, a protective, research-backed space to heal.
Evidence-Based Support where you Need It Most
Uniquely Knitted’s mental health model was created by and for the infertility community, in collaboration with leaders in psychology, counseling, and trauma-informed care. These groups are evidence-based, peer-reviewed mental health interventions rooted in models like the Townsend Personal and Relational Assessment Tool (TPRAT) and guided by trained facilitators certified in trauma support.
Currently, over 600 people per month participate in Uniquely Knitted’s community. Their programs are backed by university-led research and trusted by fertility experts nationwide.
A Bigger Vision for the Infertility Community 🎉
This clinic and hospital partnership marks a new chapter in Uniquely Knitted’s story!
This is how we get in front of the people who need us most, when they need us most.
By partnering directly with clinics and hospitals, we can reach people before the isolation takes hold. We can meet them in real time, in the middle of the process, and offer immediate connection, care, and a path toward healing.
This is the fastest and most impactful way to serve the most people, and we’re ready.
Our dream has always been to make Uniquely Knitted the first place people turn to when they need to process infertility. This is how we change it up. This is how we end the isolation, not just for some, but for as many people as possible.
