Those who suffer battle things many people will never comprehend or fully see. People can experience increased depression, anxiety, and a even loss of purpose in life.
Women who feel more shame about their infertility report a weaker sense of purpose in life.
The more shame people feel about infertility, the less they opened up to others. This is true for both men and women.
We have seen and research shows that anxiety, depression and the loss of meaning can stay with people long after their reproductive story is over. Getting pregnant, adopting, or moving on childless does not take away the traumas that people experience during their season of infertility. Infertility is now part of their reality.
We exist to heal the traumas of infertility, miscarriage, and loss. We create community to end the isolation and bring meaning back into life. We offer unique preventative mental health support for people struggling. We build resilience during infertility and for the rest of life.
